SAI

Hard-brushed. Dramatic grain revealed in six stunning finishes.

SAI is the most dynamic and creative of the Yakisugi finishes, achieved through an intense brushing process that fully exposes the underlying natural wood texture. The deep brushing creates pronounced grooves that accentuate the wood's grain, giving it a tactile, rugged beauty. This unique surface is ideal for applying custom oils or stains, allowing for a wide range of finishes to suit various architectural styles. SAI is a bold choice for those looking to combine the traditional resilience of Yakisugi with a modern, personalized aesthetic.
